By prioritizing strength training and applying high intensity interval workouts for cardio, you'll build muscle faster without gaining unwanted fat throughout your body.

IMPROVED MOBILITY.

One of the most underrated elements of a good training program is mobility and flexibility. We'll incorporate advanced stretching to enhance your posture and help you move better in your day-to-day life.

  • National Bikini Competition Qualifier - NPC - Bikini Division 3rd Place (2011)

  • Became a National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) Certified Personal Trainer (September 2013)

  • Became a Bikini Competition Prep Coach (September 2013)

  • Three-time Champion - National Physique Committee (NPC) - Bikini Division 1st (2012, 2013 and OCB in 2015)

  • National Bikini Competition Pro Qualifier NPC - Bikini Division 8th Place (2014)

  • Started BA program in Fitness & Exercise Science (2014, resumes in 2019)

  • Had first child (2016)

  • Had twins (2018 via c-section)

  • Opened up Built4This Personal Training April 1st of 2020!

  • International Physique League - IPL - Bikini Mamas Division 2nd Place and Evening Gown 2nd Place

My Inspiration

My family is truly my inspiration. I am passionate to strive to be my best and help others. I want to expose my family to the successes of life by not limiting yourself or your potential! Our kids come with us to the gym and see how hard we work. So don’t be surprised if you see them taking off their shirt and flexing their muscles or doing pushups! I definitely give credit to my husband Shane Medlen for encouraging me to move forward with my dreams and supporting me even when times were difficult.

One Bible verse that has stuck out with me since I started this gym is Matthew 5:16, "In the same way let your light shine before others. So that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." When I was younger I went through many difficult times, however throughout, there were so many people to help me along the way. One motivational poster I remember seeing in my high school science class was, "You can't choose your circumstances, but you can chose to overcome them." I can honestly say I have tried very hard to live my life by this and as a result each year of my life has gotten better. Overall I am a people person and have always enjoyed helping others which is why I am so passionate about what I do now.

I train males and females of various ages (from children to the elderly) and can help you achieve whatever fitness goals you may have. I've trained those looking to rehabilitate an injury, work through serious health issues, compete on stage and those wanting to lose weight including after pregnancy.

I offer a personalized, holistic approach to my training and fitness. In order to help you develop healthy habits for life I include individualized nutrition planning alongside a consistent exercise routine vital to your success.

My goal is to help those looking to compete, workout pre- and post-pregnancy, or anyone simply looking to get their health and body optimized through proper eating and exercise. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise with you to help you improve your life.
